Welcome to the "[Guide] Adobe Flash Player - Missing Events, Icons or Updates".

Introducing

Before you do anything read this first.

I'm not a expert and say sorry if I'm sometimes wrong or my translation is not as good as expected. And it's not my main language ;-).

You need to be logged in to see the picture. Let us start.

Pirate King International is an browsergame based of a "flashfile".

The flashfile mostly ends with *.swf or *.flv and need to be "played" with a program like a soundfile or moviefile.

This program is called "Flash Player".

Windows or any browsers hasn't included this extern application and you need to download it.

If you run that game and a new content aren't showing up or is simple get missing, continue read .

At the first time there you entered the game you downloaded this gamefile.

This content is safed in a "temporary file" there each information about item, event, feature or something else get safed.

With every start of the game the flashcontent get reloaded with a basicroutine and ask for the database information.

This information are important for you, because your items, level and and and wouldn't showed up with.

It's the same for new content. This "cache" sometimes dont get changed or is simple get missed.

We have to clear the old content and "ask" for the new one.

1. Check, which webbrowser you want to use (each webbrowser needs an own download of flashplayer).

Internet Explorer (IE)

Opera/Google Chrome (GC)

Firefox (FF)

2. Download/Update Flash Player

Visit the official website of Adobe and download the latest version of Flash Player.

--> https://get.adobe.co.../otherversions/

3. Install/Update Flash Player

I prefer to close first the webbrowser and install after.

Sometimes the file gets interrupted without.

4. Clear the main flashcache

At windows you have to go to "System Features" and "System and Security".

You will find this:

Click "Delete Files".

Now choose the tab "advanced" and do the same before.

Press "WIN+R" at your Keyboard.

Write or copy: %appdata%\Adobe

Delete the folder: "Flash Player"

Go back and do the same for:

Write or copy: %appdata%\Macromedia

Delete the folder: "Flash Player"

Done

6. Delete the Browsercache

Internet Explorer

Press the right keys: STRG+Shift+DEL

Attached File  5.jpg   113.35KB   0 downloads

Choose what you want or do nothing.

Click "Delete".

Done

Opera/Google Chrome

Write or copy in the linklist: " chrome://settings "

Go to " Show advanced optiones "

Click it and dropdown a bit and click at "Delete Browsercache/Browserfiles".

Click again "Delete Browsercache/Browserfiles".

Attached File  8.jpg   55.55KB   4 downloads

Choose what you want or do nothing.

Click again "Delete Browsercache/Browserfiles".

Done

Firefox

Write or copy in the linklist: " about:preferences#advanced "

Attached File  9.jpg   59.26KB   2 downloads

Click at "Empty now"

Done

7. Restart your Browser

All is done and must work, now.

Don't wonder about the longer waiting time.

You must load the whole flashcache again.

If the issues don't get solved you need an other solution.

Thx and i hope my guide could helps you a lot.
